Hikes in Harriman and Bear Mountain State Parks in New York, more wine country trips, getting back into shooting more film, Yale University libraries and full moons kept me happy. Discovered a few more iPhone apps, notably Squareready (so you can square border your rectangular images to post without cropping in IG), Camera Plus Pro (iTunes link), where you can shoot using live filters for both stills and video. The B&W videos through CP Pro come out pretty awesome. While annoyingly slow to use, ShakeItPhoto (iTunes link) is a really cool way to get Polaroid type images from your iPhone.
For data and infographic minded folks, Photo Stats (iTunes Store link) is a really cool way to see all of the stats about the photos you make using your iPhone. At last check before downloading and backing up all of my iPhone images, I learned I had 22356 MB of photos on my phone (taking up 86% of the phone storage), 67% of my photos were in landscape format, I generally make my images in the morning and late afternoon, the average shutter speed is 0.041 seconds and 0% of my images used the internal flash.
January has 23 images.

A few great ways to keep up on Instagram images is joining Instagram, posting your images and following your favorite photographers! There’s also Webstagram, Followgram, and the Instadesk application for Mac OS X.
